Anita Anne Sabalka, 49, Lincoln, died Monday (11-30-09). Born (3-5-60) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Lawrence and Loretta (Staack) Ahlstrand. Anita enjoyed gardening and animals. She loved her family, kids and grandkids. Raised money for charities.
Family members include husband, Thomas Sabalka; son, Lucas Sabalka and wife, Stacie Kotschwar, Binghamton, N.Y.; daughter, Laurissa and Chris Elgert, Lincoln; grandchildren, Miles and Isabella Elgert; sisters, Sandy Ham, Lincoln, Rita Hydo, Beatrice; brothers, Mark Ahlstrand, Lincoln, David Ahlstrand, Beatrice, Scott Ahlstrand, Washington, D.C. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Mona Thompson.
