I always wanted to live in Colorado, so I moved here in 1984. worked retail and with special education. I met Jim in May of 1989 and we were married March of 1990. He had a daughter who was 8 so I became an instant mom!
Jim was into Harleys so I too learned to ride. We enjoyed many cross country trips in cluding; OR,Fl, NM, of course there was the 20 year class reunion in Lincoln.
Our daughter was in the navy for 7 yrs. In 2008 she had a destination wedding on a carribean cruise. It was a dream vacation for all of us, it was in Jan. and was freezing in CO.
Several months later Jim was diagnosed with a rare agressive cancer. We lost the battle after 15 months, August 2009.
I keep busy with my two shelties and am in the sign choir @ church. |
